WHY iLEUKOUT?
The term iLeukout means “I Look Out,” which is the effort the founder leads. Supporters essentially "Look Out” for others dealing with medical adversity, specifically cancer. It is spelled i”Leuk”out to represent the cancer the founder has battled. Finally, our logo indicates a lighthouse which is consistently beaming, looking out for others.
Though we are called iLeukout, we are not limited. We represent all other cancers, as similar procedures, treatments, medications, and side-effects still tie blood and bone cancers together with other cancers. Various types of cancer patients, including in-patients and out-patients, could benefit from iLeukout.

OUR VISION
We by no means claim to have all the answers, that we can cure cancer, or save lives. We simply hope to
(1) Share general information that patients could find useful for their battles with cancer, (2) Support through fundraising on behalf of patients and caretakers, which fund The Fighting Five program (Grants for cancer patients) and The iLeukout Care Package program (gift bags with necessities for cancer patients), (3) Serve through volunteering time and effort towards the cancer community, and entertainment, with our animated series depicting what happens inside the body during cancer wars, and encourage overall (4) Survival of cancer patients. We hope to improve, upgrade, and update our information as we keep up with the speed of modern medicine in cancer treatment.
Mr. McDaniel Ubi is the President and Founder of the iLeukout Foundation. The foundation currently has (6) advisory board members, and (1) president. iLeukout is a recognized non-profit public organization 501 (c)(3), with tax except status. Donors can deduct their contributions made to iLeukout under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) section 170. Mr. Ubi is a survivor who has battled and defeated cancer. After being diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia, he managed to remain in school as a college student, not allowing the fight with cancer to disrupt his education. Mr. Ubi’s strength, determination, and positive attitude allowed him to never take a semester off, even attending classes from his hospital bed. Ubi wouldn’t have been successful alone, as he has witnessed the goodness in others that have shown their true altruism. The good-natured examples he has witnessed have motivated him to dedicate his time, effort, and life into helping others by creating and developing iLeukout.
His true purpose in life involves using his efforts to aid and equip others that are faced with adversities. Mr. Ubi states, “When I discovered what I wanted to do for patients, I immediately understood why I was the perfect patient to become ill. I wanted to create a platform where patients would be able to relate to each other, while sharing the bad and brighter side that exists when faced with life-changing medical adversity. Intimate relationships among patients are greater than silver and gold, degrees and diplomas, pennies and pounds, or life and death. Cancer patients need help today, immediately. They can’t always wait, enduring idly for aid. They are beautiful super human beings, and are the greatest science projects. They sacrifice their bodies for medical research, in hopes that they surpass adversity, and maybe future patients might suffer less.”
